Welcome! Hello, brothers and sisters, and welcome to the website where the Scriptures are discussed freely, in an honest and logical manner. The mainstream doctrine of Christianity has digressed over the centuries into something that is far, far from the Biblical truth. Unfortunately, many times men and women, honestly seeking to understand the Scriptures, have been persecuted whenever they have abandoned that mainstream ideology so as to adhere to the truth of the Bible. Two primary beliefs that I believe the scriptures teach, which are not allowed by contemporary mainstream tradition, are as follows:God is not a Trinity. There is only one person who is truly God, and that is the Father alone. (John 17:1-3, 1Corinthians 8:4-6) Jesus is not the Father himself. Rather, he is the Son of the Father, and therefore the Son of God. (John 14:28) Salvation is conditional. Christ died for the remission of our "past" sins. (Romans 3:25) We must accept the forgiveness of God which is provided thereby, and we must also be born of the Spirit in order to be a true Christian. (John 3:5) God imparts the Spirit of Christ into us, and, by the righteousness of God revealed in Christ, we are delivered (i.e., saved) from our sins in reality. However, just as this deliverance can be rejected initially, so also it may be rejected after its acceptance. Those who choose to sin rather than to submit to the revealed righteousness of God are not Christians (regardless of their past conversions/ confessions/ beliefs). (Hebrews 10:26-29, 1John 3:6-10) I believe these are the two beliefs that need to be vindicated more so than any others. The Bible teaches that Christ is the example of how we should live our lives. (2Peter 2:21-22) Therefore, we ought to live as Christ lived (1John 2:6). Unfortunately, the belief that Christ is God himself has formed the basis for the sin-prone excuse that "Christ could live without sinning because he was God, but we cannot stop sinning because we are mere men." Following that same reasoning, mainstream preachers have now begun proclaiming that sin is not something that has any relevance as to whether or not we are a Christian. However, the Bible contradicts them, saying: "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother." (1John 3:7-10)
Nevertheless, many false prophets continue to flood our country, and the world as a whole, with a "sin is normal" mindset. I believe that this removal of accountability for one's actions has been the primary catalyst for the godless condition that now exists in society at large. There are many well-known "pastors" who argue that God is a Trinity, and also that we can be in sin and be Christians. They do use a few scriptures in an attempt to support their arguments (out of context, mistranslated, or misunderstood). One of the primary purposes of this website is to address those arguments in a logical, honest, and conclusive fashion and to equip the saints to be able to refute those arguments as well. There are many other doctrines that I believe need further discussion too, like water baptism, end-time events (the rapture, etc.), the state of the dead (conscious or unconscious), speaking in tongues, the manner of Christ's preexistence, and so on. These are all important topics. I hope that, by the grace of God, we can discuss these issues, and many more, in an honest, logical, loving manner, so as to come to agreement.
